When you’re ready to fix something, Viorly helps you find a local pro. Here’s exactly where they come from, how they’re checked, and why your name and address stay private until you choose to share them.
Where the pros come from
Viorly doesn’t run its own contractor roster. Instead, we match you with local pros through Thumbtack, an established U.S. home-services marketplace. Every pro is based in the United States and agrees to provide real, accurate business and contact information. We pre-fill the scope of work from your inspection findings so the pros you see are matched to the actual job — not a vague category.

How pros are checked
Thumbtack screens pros in several ways. Here’s what each one covers — and what to look for.
Licenses verified
When a pro lists a license, Thumbtack checks the number against the state licensing board's public database and adds a license badge — so you can see it was independently verified, not just self-reported. Licensing rules vary by state and trade, so look for the badge.
Background checks
Thumbtack runs identity and criminal background checks on account owners through Checkr, a third-party screening provider. For multi-person businesses this covers the owner, so it's always fair to ask a pro about their team's policy.
Real ratings & reviews
Each pro's star rating is the average of the reviews on their profile, including verified reviews from customers who hired through Thumbtack. Consistently top-rated, responsive pros can earn “Top Pro” status.
Your information
You stay in control
- You can read ratings and reviews before choosing anyone — nothing happens until you pick a pro.
- To find matches, we send only your job's ZIP code and scope of work — never your name, email, phone, or street address.
- Your contact details go to a pro only when you submit the request, and you provide them directly to Thumbtack — not to us.
- A pro doesn't get your address until you decide to share it.
- Your information is never shared beyond the specific pro you choose.

Up to $2,500
Money-Back Guarantee
If you hire a pro through Thumbtack and the job isn't done, or isn't done as agreed, Thumbtack can refund up to $2,500. Report it within 45 days.
Up to $100,000
Property Damage Guarantee
If a pro is negligent and damages your property, Thumbtack can cover up to $100,000. Report it within 14 days.
