Your home, your data.
A home’s record is worth keeping for decades: what the inspector found, what you fixed, what you paid, what’s under warranty. That record should outlive any app, including this one. Here is exactly what we promise, and how to check it.
Export everything, any time
One button in Settings builds a complete archive of your account: every original document and report, every finding with its current status, your care history, appliances, insurance reviews, and conversations. You get a download link on the spot, plus a copy by email. No support ticket, no waiting, no questions asked.
Only you can delete your records
Remove a home from your account and its records are kept, clearly labeled, in your next export. Want everything gone instead? Request account deletion in Settings and we permanently delete all of it within 7 days. The one automatic exception: anonymous uploads made without an account are deleted after 30 days. Deleting your data is a choice only you make, never something that happens to you.
If Viorly ever shut down
Home-management apps have folded before and taken years of records with them. So here it is in plain words: if Viorly ever winds down, every homeowner gets notice and a full export of their archive, delivered before anything is turned off. Your record leaves with you, not with us.
Open formats
What’s in your export
Your archive is one ZIP you can read with no software: original files as they are, and every section twice, as JSON for machines and as spreadsheets and plain text for you. Folders are named by your home’s address, not database codes, and a README explains the layout. If you never open Viorly again, the archive still makes sense in ten years.

- Appliances and systems, with warranty and safety-recall information
- Insurance policies, coverage findings, and the decisions you made

- A year-by-year record of tax-relevant spending
Live access links, like calendar-subscription and sharing invites, are deliberately left out of the archive; everything they point to is included.
Security
How we protect it
The short version: only the people you choose can see your home, and everything is encrypted and backed up. The longer version, without the jargon:
Who can see your home
You, and only the people you invite: a partner you share the home with, or your real estate agent if you connect one. At Viorly, a small team can reach account data, and only to fix a problem you've reported or to keep the service running. Pros never see your name, email, phone, or address until you decide to contact one.
Encrypted everywhere
Everything runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Your documents are encrypted with AES-256 using a dedicated key that rotates automatically, and the database holding your records is encrypted too. Every connection to Viorly uses TLS. Stored files are never public: each one opens only through a private link that expires shortly after it's made.
Backed up continuously
The database keeps a continuous 35-day backup, and every stored document keeps its earlier versions, so an accidental change or deletion can be undone.
AI that doesn't learn from you
Viorly's analysis and home advisor run on Claude, made by Anthropic. Under our agreement, what we send it is not used to train their models, and we never use your reports or documents to train AI ourselves.
Found a security problem? Email support@viorly.com. A real person reads it, and we’ll never take action against anyone who reports an issue in good faith.
Why this matters
This category has broken this promise before
In January 2026, Centriq shut down and a decade of “permanent home records” went with it; users were left with a bare product CSV. It wasn’t the first home-management app to fold that way.
